Launched in 2004,‘Peterborough Citi’ network the latest changes will see the service offering more buses to the City Hospital and Regional College as well as retiming of routes to improve reliability.
The Bluebell Estate, Welland and Star Road get fewer buses into the city during the daytime, areas such as Dogsthorpe, Parnwell and Fletton High Street will see an increase especially in the evenings.
Citi 1 Werrington – Orton extra morning buses serving Orton Southgate Industry, additional time allowed and resource deployed to maintain the 10 minute frequency.
Citi 2 Paston – Bretton – City Hospital more direct between City Centre and City Hospital, additional time allowed and resource deployed to maintain the 10 minute frequency.

Citi 3 Bretton – Park Farm additional time allowed and resource deployed to maintain the 10 minute frequency, route to Yaxley in the evenings has been cancelled..
Citi 4 Welland – City Centre now starts at Parnwell running every 20 minutes extended beyond City Centre to Netherton and City Hospital.
Parnwell gains evening and Sunday service, additional time allowed and resource deployed.
• Eastern Avenue, between Sycamore Avenue and Central Avenue no longer served. Nearest alternative stops in Sycamore Avenue or Central Avenue.
Citi 5 Dogsthorpe – City Centre split at Dogsthorpe to start from Bluebell Estate or Welland every 20 minutes, increased between Dogsthorpe Central Avenue and City Centre in the evening and Sunday, extended to Fletton and Stanground every 10 minutes, then to Cardea or Yaxley replacing Citi 7 and Citi 8. Overall additional time allowed and resource deployed to maintain the frequency.
Citi 6 Hampton – City Centre minor timing changes evenings and on a Sunday.
Route 25 City Centre - City Hospital this service is withdrawn, customers from the City Care Centre for the City Hospital can catch the more direct Citi 2 from the stops on Thorpe Road.
There are also changes to some rural routes from the same date, details of which are shown below:
Route 30 Huntingdon - Ramsey buses on this route no longer serve The Malting, Park Road, West Avenue or Tesco’s in Ramsey. Ramsey Mereside, Ramsey Forty Foot, Pondersbridge, Ramsey St Mary’s, Ramsey Heights & Upwood are no longer served by route 30. See route 31 timetable for times from these villages.
Route 31 Peterborough - Ramsey minor change to timetable. This service will no longer serve Ramsey Tesco.
Route 36 Peterborough - Thorney minor change to timetable and route. This service will no longer serve Oxney Road and Newark Sainsburys. Buses on route 36 will serve Eye Road which is no longer served by citi 4.
