And its not the first time, we seem to remember 'photoshopped' Cllr Irene Walsh had a go at setting one up..... Chardonnays all round!
Peterborough City Councillors, of all parties and 'Independents' are reminded that if they are prevented in anyway 'by unseen hands' from reading their personally delivered e-mail edition of the PBROTRIB, (or their work hindered by any other form of censorship), tell us, as there are several other routes open to them. Hopefully the printed version of the PBROTRIB will also soon be a reality.
The easiest way to connect is to Google In 'Peterborough Tribune' where you will also be taken to either a smart phone version of the website, or sign up on the web version for a direct feed to your own computer. The original source URL is also available to all: http://parkfarmneighbourhoodwatch.blogspot.co.uk/ which is of course is how this all started, and The Home Office commended our efforts.
Councillors should be aware that the majority of stories are in fact from public source data, already in circulation, if the PBROTRIB has made a factual error, then we are always happy to correct the statement. Councillors are also reminded that although they do get the very first version of the post, these are often updated on the web version as we source additional information usually as a result of that first posting.
Councillors should also consider there will be nothing in future to stop those who have applied the censorship button to their council email accounts (which in turn, is part of the Government Information Technology system) from filtering all sorts of information that does not accord with the majority party, or other factional plan.
Candidates at the next round of Local elections are also reminded, that the PBROTRIB archives are available on-line for research, when writing their election leaflets....
