30 minute Parliamentary Debate in Westminster Hall on the Peterborough City Council proposed solar energy farm. Please scroll through to the 11am ie 11-00-00 timecode, this debate is the last 30 minutes of the morning session on November 5th. The video only appears on the website blog version of this post. We were particularly drawn to the timecode 11-12-30.
Clearly the activities of the so called secretive Blue Sky organisation set up by the council, and its continuing funding and development, plus its Company audit and reporting needs close investigation, if only to establish how much public funding has been sidelined from other budgets such as cancellation of buses and meals on wheels perhaps? We have a right to be concerned as' the managing director' of Blue Sky is non other than fun loving John Harrison, Executive Director of Strategic Resources, Peterborough City Council.
This is a recent glossy video conference presentation, not bad for a company, said to be not actively trading but can the PBROTRIB find a Report & Accounts?
FROM THE HANSARD REPORT (short extract - full script on video below)
Stewart Jackson MP:
John Harrison also in charge of the 'Cereste Memorial Fountains' in Cathedral Square. The mega expensive water spouts currently reduced to a six inch dribble. And is his executive time allocated to Blue Sky paid for out of public funding? John is happily attending conferences all over the place, so who pays for the jolly jaunts and the time involved ? Mr Harrison is clearly employed by the council as the public entry below shows:
• 01733 452 520
• 07920 160122
Anyone with information on the whole Blue Sky set up call us! We would also like to know the full 'pillow talk' details concerning the 'monitoring officer' and if the legal process has been compromised as suggested/ alleged by the MP within the protection of Parliament.... There is a strong smell of rotting fish. The PBROTRIB is on the case. and we have a very large net...
