On completion the Prince will be piloting one of the two EAAA helicopters in 2015. As a result the life saving service could see Peterborough victims being flown to hospital piloted by the Prince and supported by the onboard EAAA medical team.
The move marks a return to flying for the 32-year-old Prince who last year ended a 3-year tour as an RAF Search & Rescue pilot.
William will be paid for his work with the East Anglian Air Ambulance (EAAA), based at Cambridge Airport, and he will donate his salary in full to charity.
