A cyber geek is facing jail for attempting to blackmail Halifax Bank by releasing the details of 28,000 account holders to a tabloid newspaper.
Lewys Martin, 22, demanded one Bitcoin - an untraceable virtual currency - for every 10 sets of details he was holding on a memory card.
Martin was also caught with three malware phishing programmes which are designed to steal personal information and data.
He issued his demands just days before he was jailed for launching cyber attacks on the websites of Oxford and Cambridge universities. - See more at: http://courtnewsuk.co.uk/
