The Dear Leader Cllr Marco Cereste (Il Guffulo Presidente Gold Star and Contaminated Soil Battle of Fletton Bar Second Class ) had a spot of Twitter meltdown last night, about two hours of it. To give the Pizza munchin' traffic lovin' roadway diggin' Father of four (OMG We tie on that one Marco! but I lead on Grandchildren..) his due, mastering twitter, delivering pithy messages in less than 120 taps of the keyboard is difficult, and he is bless, still at Key Stage One so to speak. Soon some heavyweight tweeters joined the fray and after a couple of hours the grappa snapped, and the Dear Leader blocked my feed. He'll say it rubbish, no this is rubbish, click this link!
Him not realising of course, all his tweets are still visible, it just stops you reposting that particular tweet on that feed (many other feeds are available) have a look for yourself @Marcocereste
Basically Marco knows the game is up, the debt mountain is beyond astronomical and the wretched boulevard road works choking off the little remaining commerce in this City! Milton Keynes meanwhile is booming ... and in our view the Dear Leader should be thanked for his service, and promptly hand over the debt mountain to someone else who understands the value of a free vote, much looser whipping and even tidy streets.
The flak is flying faster than his Westminster Council hired in PR people( about half a million so far found its way into the Westminster coffers) can put up the now out of date posters on their sparse twitter feed.
The Centre for Cities report is Marcos current bedtime reading but as ever it pays to read the small print. Page 56 for example is brilliant
PETERBOROUGH CO2 EMISSIONS PER CAPITA 2012
HIGH IS BETWEEN 6.4 TO 25.6 per cent
PETERBOROUGH 6.7% HIGH
...and we still haven't got the filthy old Mega Incinerator going full blast yet, or a future son of Magna Park massive road/rail freight interchange (its on Marcos strategic plan). So much for the fantasy Environmentali Crapitali it really is nonsense no matter how many signs you put up!
LONDON CO2 EMISSIONS PER CAPITA 2012
RATED LOW AT 5.4 PER CENT
POPULATION GROWTH 2004 - 2013
HIGH 15.2 PER CENT INCREASE
The City is also highly rated by the Centre for Cities Report, our population soared by 15.2 per cent between 2004 and 2013 its all on page 60 Marco...
