Westley is the new 'Posh' (Peterborough United) Manager. Well, new to our manor...

Well its a bit like this your Lordshop,  Always happy to talk to the press. Take my card. I'm the late Mr Daleys'
twin brother  Barry Fly-Daley.    The new man at Peterborough United ? Manager is he?
Has class, sold him, for a couple of sovs. (and that Cereste fellow) two of my Daley International (Florida) Inc. Taiwan faux leather, much sought after, jackets.
Oh, the Football Club?  'Posh' are way too soft on their players.  I mean thev've even got one of their 'lads' jumping over ropes.. and then brag about it.
I've seen it on their shirts 'Mick George skips', I ask you?
My advice for the new Manager? Make the bu**ers run around a bit,
work up a sweat, lay off the nightlife, Playstations, WAGS and pizzas, then see 'em knock a few in the net.
No I won't be investing, I'm looking towards China ...some Irishman I know has bought up a load of convenience stores and I'm clearing the lockup to  stock 'em all up. Frying pans anyone?

One gets the feeling that Barry Fry is the Svengali behind the much leaked appointment of Graham Westley, the current Manager of Peterborough United FC The 'new to us' man has been round the football block as it were a few times, centred on Stevenage.

Judging by the opening news conference he would certainly get a casting, if ever the TV series Minder was to be revived with a new Daley at the helm.

The speech delivery suggests South London was his original manor, and he'd be a handy bloke to have around if the nightlife 'got lively' as it were and you needed some muscle and a fast talker to diffuse the problem. It might have been the cut of his jacket,,and the flat top haircut. The jawline is square, the mouth seemingly providing both the question and answer, which should cut down future news briefings.

So whatever the future holds for Posh, it has to a warm welcome to our manor. The half-time dressing room chat should be interesting. Boxes of Kleenex are being ordered as you read this. It is going to be an interesting few months... No, the length of Mr Westleys first contract has not been revealed, but 100 days would seem to be about right, hopefully he'll prove us all wrong. Championship here we come. Nothing less will do Mr Westley.

NUJ Code of Conduct

The NUJ's Code of Conduct has set out the main principles of British and Irish journalism since 1936.

The code is part of the rules and all journalists joining the union must sign that they will strive to adhere to the it.

8 Resists threats or any other inducements to influence, distort or suppress information and takes no unfair personal advantage of information gained in the course of her/his duties before the information is public knowledge

9 Produces no material likely to lead to hatred or discrimination on the grounds of a person's age, gender, race, colour, creed, legal status, disability, marital status, or sexual orientation
