Where seen, impacts include flooding affecting parts of communities and disruption to travel is expected as number of roads are likely to be closed.
On Tuesday there is a low likelihood of further significant river flooding in Cumbria leading to a LOW flood risk.
Across parts of Northumberland, Lancashire and the western Pennines river flooding is ongoing today with a MEDIUM overall flood risk (coloured amber in the maps above today). This continues into tomorrow (Monday) in Lancashire and Northumberland.
Significant impacts such as flooding affecting properties and parts of communities and disruption to travel are possible across these areas.
More widely across northern England there is a LOW flood risk from both river and surface water flooding (coloured yellow in the maps above).
