SCRAMBLE BIKE PACK ON THE PARK FARM GREEN WHEEL FOOTPATH (under the four foot high uncut grass) at 12 :50pm SUNDAY

As we've already predicted Sunday lunchtime is the ideal time for a bunch of (we counted five) scramble bikers to hurtle up and down the river side Green Wheel path, opposite Park Farm, scattering pedestrians and toddlers on trikes.

A few of the riders were wearing helmets but not all. Hopefully at least one of them would have choked up his/her engine as the uncut grass is now around three foot high.

Some half hearted cutting of grass near the golden triangle (the area within Cllr Harpers house, the post box, HMP* playground  and the Primary School) has been undertaken, the rest left to grow even taller! There seems to be little logic in it. Perhaps a Councillor could assist?

So at 12 :50 on Sunday they zoomed past Trib Towers in the direction of Whittlesey,  then  a few made the return pass. Our problem is simply that many (Asian families in particular)  traditionally go out for a traditional walk on Sunday, and the Green Wheel footpath opposite Park Farm, Stanground is a favourite route.

It cannot be too long before an accident happens. Now that Cllr Harper having been re-elected and has moved his tent to the unsuspecting South Stanground, we can expect little practical action, so our suggestion is that we all report these incidents on so by the time the next elections come round a full record can be tabled. The USA owned council app. in our view is useless as the information just vanishes from public view...

In the meantime, the incident has been reported on the premium police call line, but by the time the officers are alerted ( they did however call back at 13:25pm  and formally logged it and would appreciate any future sightings to be phoned through) the illegal and possibly dangerous riders have long gone, possibly married settled down and produced children...( relax Cllr its a joke, albeit in very poor taste, yes really)

Anyone getting pictures or video can send them through to us and we'll pass the materials on. Please give time date and any other information, yiu can think of.  But please don't put yourselves at risk.

Cllr Irene Walsh is the councillor in charge of enforcement a mixture of "Council PCSO light " and some warranted police officers.  But all woefully under budgeted and chronically understaffed.  Cllr Gavin Elsey is the joker tasked with grass cutting. We should say the outgoing Peterborough councillors ALL voted for cutting the grass budget.  Perhaps this shambles should be looked at again, and quickly?

UPDATES: Post are transmitted from a variety of remote sources, immediately published on servers in the USA, additions, updates and any corrections added later on the blog version only.

Editorial policy: WE DON'T CENSOR NEWS, we will however come down hard on lawbreakers, all forms of ASB - Anti Social Behaviour, and anyone or group who seek to disturb or disrupt our neighbourhoods and communities, or in anyway abuse, take unfair advantage or financially disadvantage our citizens. We support the Park Farm Neighbourhood Watch and digitally carry the messages from this independent Neighbourhood Watch Scheme.

We are openly but constructively critical of all political parties (actual and sham), pressure groups, overbearing 'jobsworths' and those who seek to waste public funds, abuse public office, ramp up expenses, BUY VOTES and/or engage in any form of directed or robotic voting.

Whilst accepting that many in Public Office perform a valuable service and make a worthwhile contribution, there are others who are frankly rubbish. Although Julian Bray is the editor, there are several Blog administrators / correspondents who actively contribute by remote transmission to this blog.

So it could be some days before the copy (content) is seen by the Editor and properly formatted. We consider all representations and correct any facts that are clearly deficient.
