UK votes OUT: SHOULD WE STAY OR SHOULD WE GO? First and last word on the European Referendum... IS THIS INDEPENDENCE DAY FOR THE UK?

There was no need for David Cameron to make his resignation speech as Sam Cameron was looking pale and tense as she walked out with her husband from Number10 Downing Street knowing that her husband had already made an appointment for an Audience of the Queen (correct form) later that morning, to hand in his resignation.

SHOULD WE STAY OR SHOULD WE GO? First and last word on the European Referendum... IS THIS INDEPENDENCE DAY FOR THE UK?

This is the predictive post that Julian Bray placed on his regional Peterborough Tribune News Blog, some 24 hours before the polls closed. It correctively identifies a few key issues ignored by the Remain Camp.

REFERENDUM:
THIS TIME REMEMBER THAT
EVERY SINGLE VOTE COUNTS.
'IN OR OUT' IT COULD ALL TURN
ON A SINGLE VOTE.
YOUR VOTE!

Julian Bray writes: Many people have already voted either in or out of Europe, some two / three weeks back when their postal vote arrived. Leaving aside all the campaigning and the relentless lobby activity by big business, just remember big business does not have a vote, its really NOTHING to do with them, it is just you and the ballot box.

IF you are registered to vote, then please use it. Your single vote will impact on the UK for generations, not just the term of a parliament...

If we voted to leave the current EU set up, we do regain some of our national self-respect, all the funding ( and who really cares what the numbers are, just consider, they are truly eye-watering amounts and 'foreigners' will no longer decide how its spent and how much may eventually filter back to  the UK.

Simply the money allocated to Europe or regularly allocated to European matters  will stay firmly within this country, to be used as we see fit, rather than prop up the amazing excesses of MEPs and the European Parliament.

Like you, I can only name a handful of European MEPs and frankly why should they look after the UK when 27 or so other countries  can black, veto or vote against anything we dare to propose?

Most of the progress or points our small band of MEPs try to promote will come back to the UK Parliament. Immediately we are out, if that is the result, will see David Cameron considering his position and looking for his next adventure. probably with a bank like J P Morgan perhaps?

Almost immediately with the shackles of the moribund EU off our backs, we can see that our own borders are secure. The only way this can be done is to build up the Royal Navy and coastguard, this alone will create jobs in the UK, as we have shipyards hanging on by a thread.

An order book of 100 coastal defence vessels  (France has 300 ....) but most importantly this overcrowded island can protect its fishing rights and prevent French and Spanish fleet from plundering our fishing stocks.

It cannot be right that some London Billingsgate Fish market agents have to buy British fish from Spanish and French sources. .....

Importantly our domestic MPs will finally have a proper job to do, as they can no longer rely on the EU to do their work for them. They won't have time for second jobs and lucrative consultancy work on the side. Bringing democracy back to the UK. Its as simple as that. OUR OWN INDEPENDENCE DAY!

On trade, the 'remainers' claim that tariff barriers will disadvantage  UK firms. Its rubbish of course as UK imports outweigh what we sell to the EU. Our traditional World markets created through Empire and the Commonwealth have been neglected by our politicians, blinded by the idea that the EU Club is an easy market to crack.

The truth is ENGLISH is the worldwide international language of business, not French, German, Pongolian or Italian. So I've voted to leave, so future British generations can trade without any constraints or petty rules and regulations from the fat-cat unknowns from many nations who are actually running and pulling the strings in Brussels - liberally using and spending our money!

For example the Indian TATA company is now asset stripping selling off small parts of what remains of the UK steel industry.

Meanwhile India is launching multiple International satellites from their own establish space industry, rather than install even basic sanitation  and clean water for millions of Indians.....

Our energy costs  are almost double that of Europe and we have by a European Union diktat we have to apply VAT IN FULL to electricity costs... plain daft.

Another thing, vote 'out' and just watch the 'hot money' leave the country, rapidly putting their empty investment property on the market, sooner or later that will trickle down, and our children and their children might actually be able to buy their own mortgaged home...

UPDATES: Post are transmitted from a variety of remote sources, immediately published on servers in the USA, additions, updates and any corrections added later on the blog version only.

Editorial policy: WE DON'T CENSOR NEWS, we will however come down hard on lawbreakers, all forms of ASB - Anti Social Behaviour, and anyone or group who seek to disturb or disrupt our neighbourhoods and communities, or in anyway abuse, take unfair advantage or financially disadvantage our citizens. We support the Park Farm Neighbourhood Watch and digitally carry the messages from this independent Neighbourhood Watch Scheme.

We are openly but constructively critical of all political parties (actual and sham), pressure groups, overbearing 'jobsworths' and those who seek to waste public funds, abuse public office, ramp up expenses, BUY VOTES and/or engage in any form of directed or robotic voting.

Whilst accepting that many in Public Office perform a valuable service and make a worthwhile contribution, there are others who are frankly rubbish. Although Julian Bray is the editor, there are several Blog administrators / correspondents who actively contribute by remote transmission to this blog.

So it could be some days before the copy (content) is seen by the Editor and properly formatted. We consider all representations and correct any facts that are clearly deficient.
